The Utah Transit Authority is offering additional and extended TRAX trains this weekend because of big crowds expected for LDS General Conference, a Justin Bieber concert downtown and a regional NCAA women's gymnastics meet at the University of Utah.

On Saturday, longer-than-usual trains will run on all TRAX lines. On Sunday, longer trains will run just on the blue and green lines.

For General Conference, two additional TRAX trains will run before each session on Saturday and Sunday on the blue line. Specific schedules are available online at rideuta.com.

For the gymnastics meet, an extra southbound TRAX train is scheduled to run from the South Campus TRAX station when the competition ends Saturday night. UTA officials remind those attending the gymnastics meet that their ticket to that event doubles as free UTA fare on TRAX and its buses because of an agreement with the University.
